Here are the tips to connect your internet with cable.

1.       To prepare in advance you need to turn off your router, modem, and computer as well.

2.       Use WAN port of your TP-Link router to your modem with the help of Ethernet cable. Now you can connect your computer to the LAN of your TP-Link's router with Ethernet cable.

3.       Now firstly switch ON the power of your router and computer and the n modem.

1.       First of all, open your web browser and then log into the web-based management page of the router. 

2.       Configure the connection type of WAN. Now click on the Network of the router's management page and then go to the left of the web page and go to WAN.

3.       Change the connection type to PPPoE from WAN.

4.       Your ISP has provided you the PPPoE user name and password, Enter them.

5.       Now save your settings by clicking on the "Save" button, it will take some time to reconnect your router with internet.

6.       Now you can check the established connection by checking the WAN port status. If IP address is showing there then it is confirmed that the connection is established between router and modem.

7.       If you do not see IP address then follow the bellow steps.

8.       First of all turn off your modem then router and in last turn off your computer. Leave all of them off for two minutes.

9.       After two minutes, turn on the DSL modem and wait for modem till it gets ready, now turn on your router and computer.
