How to Configure your NETGEAR WI-FI Router Device without CD

As the NETGEAR router setup wizard software is built within the Router and gateway that is why it does not replace lost or broken installation CDs and serve the same purpose as the CD. For setup of your NETGEAR router, you do not need to download anything because everything is available within the NETGEAR router. 

•    In case if you have cable internet connection and NETGEAR GENIE interface then:-

1-    Connect an Ethernet cable to the Internet port of your router.

2-    Then connect the Ethernet cable from the computer to any one of the LAN ports of your router.

3-    Now if you have to reconnect the backup button of your router.

4-    Now plug-in your router into the power port, then wait for the LED light to turn green.

5-    Now open any of the web browsers on your computer then on the address bar enter your router Default IP address or routerlogin.net login. Then press Enter.

6-     Now a login page of your Router will open where you have to enter your router Login details.

7-    Now go to ADVANCED section then click on SETUP wizard.

8-    Select Yes and click Next.

•    If you have smart wizard Interface then: -

1-    At first you have to connect your modem to the internet port of your NETGEAR ROUTER.

9-    Now open any of the web browsers on your computer then on the address bar enter your router Default IP address. Then press Enter.

2-    Now a login page of your Router will open where you have to enter your router Login details.

3-    Then go to Setup Wizard.

4-    Now Select Yes and click Next.
